The Mens Ministry at Mt Zion is an active group of men that desire to see men come alive and be active in their family, church, and community.  We desire to see men engaging in fellowship, evangelism, and discipleship through bible studies, meals, campfires, and retreats.

Fellowship

Mt Zion Men’s Ministry strives to connect men in Christ-like relationships to glorify Jesus and encourage one another. Our hope is that these relationships invite accountability, vulnerability, and camaraderie across all pillars of our men’s ministry.
1 Thess 5:11

Evangelism

Mt Zion Men’s Ministry strives to empower the men of our congregation to carry the Gospel to every part of the world in their daily lives by resourcing, encouraging, and teaching men to share their faith.
Roman’s 10:14-15

Discipleship

Mt Zion Men’s Ministry strives to equip the men of our congregation to grow deeper in their knowledge and personal relationship with God through studying scripture, mentorship, and accountability.

There is a path leading to authentic manhood, cut by men who have gone before us, sons following in the footsteps of their fathers, generation after generation. There are perils along the trail, even disasters—all the more reason to rely on the guidance of a Father who has gone before.

God designed men to seek out adventure. But, somewhere between childhood and the struggles of yesterday, most men lose sight of those dreams.

In an age when fathers are more important than ever, how do you embark on your journey to manhood and know how to steer clear of the dangers along the way? In Fathered by God, New York Times bestselling author John Eldredge reminds us that there's a path to masculinity and, best of all, there's a loving Father ready to help us follow it.

For too long, men have sat on the sideline of life. But God intends for us to get into the game. We’ve been content with mediocre while God calls us to greatness. The path to a better world and a better future for our families and communities begins at our door. We need to take hold of our biblical anointing and become spiritually strong men sold out for the kingdom of God.

LOGO-MOCKUP-1-TRANSPARENT 1

The Men’s Ministry logo was designed intentionally.  The mountains represent not only the beautiful mountains surrounding the Shenandoah Valley in which we live, but also the place where God has met and talked with his people.  Moses, Abraham, Jacob, and even Jesus regularly met with God on the mountaintop.  It reminds us that we can meet with God the Father, He can speak to us, and He is accessible to us.  The pick-axe is a versatile tool designed for many situations.  It is rugged, durable, and dependable.  As men, we are called to be the same in this world. One of the uses of the pick-axe is to mine for precious gems and stones - something that the Word tells us to do.  We are called to mine for the precious gems throughout scripture.  Finally, the pick-axe is designed to break through hard rock…..to break through the hard places in our hearts to reveal and dig into the deeper hearts that our Father has given us.
