Welcome!
We are so glad you are coming to visit with us! Here you will find some basic information about our worship services, and some answers to frequently asked questions that many visitors have when they first visit our church.
Mt Zion is a welcoming community that encourages everyone to dress in whatever makes them comfortable for worship. Some come in ties and jackets, and others come in jeans or shorts and T-shirts. We believe coming to God is about the state of our hearts, not our attire. Our worship service is a blended service that intertwines both contemporary elements and traditional practices.
You will often hear hymns and praise songs with both piano and a praise team in the same worship service. We are a simple church that wants to welcome all kinds of worship practices into our sanctuary.
We welcome all ages in our worship service as well. We encourage families to worship together, so bring your kids! We have a children’s story included in our worship service for the kids to learn on an age appropriate level. We do not have a staffed nursery, but we have a room where parents can take their kids and play, rest, or nurse if needed.

About Us
Our church is group of believers bound together by the Holy Spirit. We share the common conviction that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and God's only perfect Son. We believe that the Bible is the source of truth in this world, and that all teaching in the Bible is true. Mt Zion has a long history of ministry as a part of the Linville community for more than 100 years!
We seek and strive to help each other live like Jesus everyday. We strive to have good, Biblically based teaching, along with passionate worship, and a space that welcomes anyone to come in and feel like family. We have kids activities, youth activities, Bible studies, and more to help the whole family engage Scripture. We also have an active Deacon body, and many opportunities to help our community.
We would love to have you come and visit us, and become part of our family!
Grace and Peace in the name of Jesus!

Our Ministries
Mt Zion Men's Ministries is a growing part of our church. Currently we have a Men's Bible Study and a yearly Men's Retreat. We are growing more opportunities for men to explore their faith, so check back soon for more info. You can also request more info by clicking the link.
We are so blessed to have an active youth ministry. Currently our teens gather two times a month. First Sundays are our fellowship nights when we gather to play games, have some fun, and build relationships. Third Thursdays we meet during Kid's Night to study the Word of God together.
Our teens also serve our church during Sunday Worship by bringing their gifts of music, drama, dance, and other talents. And if you stay for Sunday School, we have a great youth class!
